Are you ready to serve, learn, and lead? Frenchtown Fire is launching a Junior Firefighter Program designed to introduce teens to the fire service in a safe, supervised, and educational environment.

Ready to challenge yourself, build real skills, and be part of something bigger? Frenchtown Fire is excited to launch our Junior Firefighter Program for motivated 16–17-year-olds who want to learn, serve, and lead. This is a great opportunity for local teens to explore firefighting, EMS, rescue, safety, teamwork, and leadership in a safe, supervised, hands-on environment.

Junior members will train alongside experienced firefighters, participate in approved department activities, and gain real-world insight into what it means to serve our community. Whether you’re thinking about a future in public safety or simply want to make a difference, this program is a powerful first step.

What You’ll Do

· Participate in fire department classes and hands-on training

· Learn basic firefighting, rescue, safety, and emergency services skills

· Join supervised department activities and approved training events

· Observe and assist on supervised calls as allowed by department policy

· Explore career pathways in firefighting, EMS, and public safety
