Local 4654 Career Firefighters are full-time district employees who deliver professional services in structural firefighting, wildland fire response, rescue operations, and emergency medical care. Additionally, they contribute to administrative tasks such as public education, fire prevention, member training, career development, and preventative health services

The current salary base for Probationary Firefighter I/EMT is $45,000, and Probationary Firefighter I/Paramedic is $49,000 (additional salary depending on qualifications).

The current full-time shifts are as follows:

3 Shifts (A, B, C) of 2 Career Firefighters. 1 Medic, 1 EMT with 2 Resident firefighters and volunteers as they come.

0800-0800, 48 hrs on / 96 hrs off 365 days/year.

0800-1700 M-F
