Our Department:

Frenchtown Fire is a combination paid and volunteer department. The District has a full time career staff; Resident fire fighters, who live in the stations, work shifts, and respond on emergencies; and volunteers, who live and respond throughout the District. The District consists of 125 square miles, and lies within Mineral and Missoula counties. 7 stations are strategically located throughout the area. Stations 1, 4, 5, and 7 are staffed by live-in fire fighter/ EMT residents.  The Frenchtown Rural Fire District provides services to the communities of Evaro, Missoula, Frenchtown, Huson, and Alberton.

Our Goal:

The Mission of the Frenchtown Rural Fire District is to provide residents, within the established legal boundaries of the Fire District, services supplied by trained Staff and Volunteer personnel which may include, but are not limited to, fire suppression, fire prevention and emergency medical aid, with the resources available.

Thank you, to all Fire, EMS, Police and 911 personnel and volunteers.  Your spirit, dedication and enthusiasm is appreciated in your demanding work environment.
